The 7 Sacraments- An Overview
The 7 Sacraments! Gifts from Jesus for his people. This is what sets the Catholic Church apart from later Christian denominations. As Catholics, we have supernatural graces in the Sacraments from Christ to help us to heaven

Baptism & Confirmation
We begin with the 2 Sacraments of Initiation, Baptism & Confirmation. Baptism is the first step to becoming a Christian. Your sins are washed away, and you are marked for life as an “Adopted Son or Daughter of God”! Confirmation is an outpouring of the 7 gifts you receive at Baptism. You are claiming Christ as your King, and receiving God’s grace.

Eucharist: Source and Summit of Christian Life
The Eucharist: The Catholic Church has always considered the Eucharist as the Body & Blood of Christ, just as John 6 describes in Scripture. We receive Jesus Christ as the body, Blood, Soul & Divinity of Jesus Christ in our own bodies. We become Temples of the Holy Spirit.

Sacraments of Healing: Reconcilation & Anointing
Jesus knew we would fall short and sin after Baptism. He gave his Apostles, the gift of forgiving sins, and in Apostolic succession, His Bishops and Priest are given that gift also. They can forgive our sins in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The book of James spells out the Healing of the sick for our spiritual and physical healing
Sacraments of Service- Matrimony & Holy Orders
Marriage between a Man & and a Woman was in the beginning. In the book of Genesis, the theme of matrimony runs through the entirety of scripture and ends in Revelation with the wedding feast of the Lamb. Marriage is blessed by God, and without his help and grace, is almost impossible without God. At the last supper, Christ blessed his Apostles to carry on His Good News. He gave them the power to confer the Eucharist and forgive sins. Their successors who have hands laid on them in Holy Orders help administer the Sacraments today.
